Following a comprehensive assessment, we work with the family to develop an intervention plan that meets your needs. We use creative and tailored interventions for each child based on their age group, potential, and interests.
Global Developmental Delays 0-24 Months
Assess the child’s overall development and support them in developing age-appropriate skills through activities easily integrated into daily routines.
Help children develop their fine motor skills, from manipulating small objects to writing by hand or on the computer, as well as crafts and any other activities expected for their age or aligned with their interests.
Support children’s gross motor development so they can explore, move, and gain confidence in their motor skills, enabling them to fully engage in activities of their choice or those expected for their age.
Understand children’s sensory needs and find solutions to meet them, helping them regulate and actively participate in activities both at school and at home.
Assist children in understanding and regulating their emotions by developing a range of tailored strategies to facilitate daily emotional regulation, while reinforcing their self-esteem and overall well-being.
Help children learn safe, adapted swimming techniques that are aligned with their abilities, providing a valuable opportunity to develop a wide range of social, motor, and sensory skills.

I view occupational therapy as a way to intervene and find solutions, regardless of the challenges faced! Step by step, I aim to support children in developing their potential through a play-based and family-centered approach.
Next steps
1. Online request
Choose a time slot for a phone call and complete the Needs Analysis questionnaire.
2. Phone call
Free 15-minute phone call with the parent to discuss the questionnaire, needs, and the upcoming clinical assessment.
3. Clininal assessment
Completed in the presence of the child. An additional session may be necessary, and sometimes in their natural environment.
4. Follow-up
A report is completed, and if the assessment requires it, a detailed plan is developed and a clinical follow-up is initiated.
Occupational therapy aims to optimize children’s performance and engagement in their daily activities. This means that the child participates in and enjoys various activities that fill their day, such as routines and play.
According to the child’s challenges, we work with them and their family to develop their personal skills, adapt their environment to meet their needs, and directly address problematic occupations, all while respecting their developmental level.
At L’Ergothérapie du Développement, we prioritize a play-based approach in partnership with the family.
